ColorBurst Updates

Updating to a major new release of ColorBurst (such as 6.0) requires a paid upgrade. Intermediate software updates (6.1, 6.2, etc.) are provided free of charge to ColorBurst users.

EPSON USERS
If you are using the version of ColorBurst that was shipped as part of an Epson Stylus Pro Professional Edition bundle, please go to our Epson Bundle Updates page. The ColorBurst updates here will not work with the bundled version.

If you already own ColorBurst Pro, PrePress, or ProLab 8.x, you may upgrade to ColorBurst 8.3 for free. If you own version 7.x, you may purchase an upgrade to version 8.x on our Windows Upgrades page.

This upgrade is for the Layout series only and is not compatible with Epson bundled versions of ColorBurst.

COLORBURST PRINTER DRIVERS


Mac OS X 10.4 or later required, Intel and Power PC

ColorBurst PPD Installer for Mac OS X 10.4 or later - 11/16/07

The ColorBurst PPD is installed automatically when ColorBurst is installed. This installer should be used on any Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 printing to ColorBurst over a network.

SPECTRALVISION PRO
Mac OS X SpectralVisionPro2.5.2-Mac.zip (42.9 MB)
SpectralVision Pro version 2.5.2 for Mac OS X can be used with ColorBurst to create Linearization files, PrintCertification files, and ICC Profiles using all X-Rite/Gretag spectrophotometers. The X-Rite ColorMunki can be used for linearization. A ColorBurst dongle is required to create an ICC Profile.

COLORBURST DONGLE INSTALLER
Mac OS X AKSUSB Installer verson 1.91 - updated 9/29/08

Run the dongle installer if you experience difficulties with your ColorBurst dongle, such as "Dongle not found" errors.
To install: Run the AKSUSB Uninstall utility first, then run AKSUSB Install.pkg. Reboot your computer, then try launching ColorBurst again.
