ColorBurst Updates

Updating to a major new release of ColorBurst (such as 6.0) requires a paid upgrade. Intermediate software updates (6.1, 6.2, etc.) are provided free of charge to ColorBurst users.

If you are using the version of ColorBurst that was shipped as part of an Epson Stylus Pro Professional Edition bundle, please go to our Epson Bundle Updates page. The ColorBurst updates here will not work with the bundled version.

If you already own ColorBurst 6, you may upgrade to ColorBurst 6.1.3 for free. If you own version 5 or earlier, you may purchase an upgrade to version 6 on our Mac Upgrades page.

The ColorBurst PPD is installed automatically when ColorBurst is installed. This installer should be used on any Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 printing to ColorBurst over a network.

SPECTRALVISION PRO
Mac OS X SpectralVisionPro2.5.2-Mac.zip (42.9 MB)
SpectralVision Pro version 2.5.2 for Mac OS X can be used with ColorBurst to create Linearization files, PrintCertification files, and ICC Profiles using all X-Rite/Gretag spectrophotometers. The X-Rite ColorMunki can be used for linearization. A ColorBurst dongle is required to create an ICC Profile.

COLORBURST DONGLE INSTALLER
Mac OS X 10.4 or later, Intel only HASP SRM Run-time Installer - Intel Only

Run the HASP SRM installer if you are using Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6) on an Intel machine.
To install: Run the Uninstall HASP SRM utility first, then run Install HASP SRM Runtime Environment. Reboot your computer, then launch ColorBurst.

Run the dongle installer if you experience difficulties with your ColorBurst dongle, such as "Dongle not found" errors.
To install: Run the AKSUSB Uninstall utility first, then run AKSUSB Install.pkg. Reboot your computer, then try launching ColorBurst again.
