ColorBurst Updates

Updating to a major new release of ColorBurst (such as 5.0) requires a paid upgrade. Intermediate software updates (5.1, 5.2, etc.) are provided free of charge to ColorBurst users.

If you are using the version of ColorBurst that was shipped as part of an Epson Stylus Pro Professional Edition bundle, please go to our Epson Bundle Updates page. The ColorBurst updates here will not work with the bundled version.

ColorBurst Queue Series 5.6.3 Updater
If you already own ColorBurst 5.x, you may upgrade to ColorBurst 5.6.3 for free. If you own version 4.x, you may purchase an upgrade to version 5.x on our Mac Upgrades page.

Version 5.6.3 is Intel-native and runs under Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 (Leopard).

The ColorBurst PPD is installed automatically when ColorBurst is installed. This installer should be used on any Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.4 or 10.5 printing to ColorBurst over a network.

The ColorBurst PPD is installed automatically when ColorBurst is installed. This installer should be used on any Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier printing to ColorBurst over a network. The latest version of StuffIt Expander is required to unstuff this .sit file.

SPECTRALVISION PRO
Mac OS X SpectralVisionPro2.4.2-Mac.zip (42.7 MB)
SpectralVision Pro version 2.4.1 for Mac OS X can be used with ColorBurst to create Linearization files, PrintCertification files, and ICC Profiles using all X-Rite/Gretag spectrophotometers. A ColorBurst dongle is required to create an ICC Profile.

COLORBURST DONGLE INSTALLER

Run the dongle installer if you experience difficulties with your ColorBurst dongle, such as "Dongle not found" errors.
To install: Run the AKSUSB_Uninstall utility first, then run AKSUSB_Install-forced. Reboot your computer, then try launching ColorBurst again.
