Printing Separations from Illustrator

Hello,
We are trying to print separation films from Illustrator CS4 (Mac OS 10.4) from ColorBurst 5.6. It seems like the files are going through the RIP, but nothing is printed on films. Printer simply cuts off empty films.

We need to be able to print halftones with specific dot shapes and angles, but can't figure out how to do this. We managed to print separations from Photoshop and InDesign, but not in dots (we are in screen printing business).

Could someone get back to us?

We no longer support version 5.6. You could try the files with the demo of version 6 to see what results you get.

Please note, that ColorBurst on the mac does not have halftone capabilities. Only our PC product can print halftone dots.
